Seeing the photos of the cupcakes immediately got me into a holiday craving. "Darn it! I must try this", I said to myself. So I sent a message online to ate Valerie to order some sweet goodies to make us all happy. Indulgence indeed.
I ordered Danilo's Chocolate Hazelnut Cupcake (stuffed with Nutella topped with green tea buttercream and sesame seeds), Iluminada's Banana Cupcake (stuffed with crispy peanut butter topped with chocolate ganache and caramelized banana), and Lolita's Blueberry Cupcake (topped with homemade cheesecake)
The Blueberry Cheesecake
Every cupcake was freshly baked to perfection, From the cupcake itself to the filling and the frosting. Each flavor and their match compliments the other and vice versa. Ate Valerie's choice of flavors are quite excellent. I just have something to say about the Blueberry cupcake though... As shown in the photo, the topping and the cupcake seems like they have different worlds (also as of eating them will be in separate ways), but I was told that the original one was with the blueberry as the filling and the cheesecake as the topping.
